About Knoxville
Knoxville is a city in the u.s. State of tennessee, and the county seat of knox county. According to the united states census bureau, the city has a total area of 104.2 square miles, of which 98.5 square miles is land and 5.6 square miles, or 5.42%, is water. Elevations range from just over 800 feet, is located east of the city near mascot. As of the census of 2010, the population of knoxville was 178,874, a 2.9% increase from 2000. The median age was 32.7, with 19.1% of the population under the age of 18, and 12.6% over the age of 65. The population was 48% male and 52% female.
