Buffalo is a city in johnson county, wyoming, united states. The population was 4,585 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of johnson county. Hispanic or latino of any race were 3.5% of the population. According to the united states census bureau, the city has a total area of 4.46 square miles, all of it land.
